TORONTO, ON (October 30, 2023) - Republic Live, award-winning producers of Boots and Hearts Music Festival, has appointed Canadian music industry leader Anne Stirk as Marketing and Brand Strategy Director, ahead of the company’s move into its thirteenth year of the multi-award-winning country music festival.
Today’s announcement comes on the heels of this year’s Boots and Hearts Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA Awards) Festival of the Year award win and Republic Live’s Booking Director, Brooke Dunford’s CCMA Award win as Talent Buyer/Promoter of the Year. Moving forward Brooke will transition out of the day-to-day Marketing and PR strategy after 7 years, to focus solely on talent buying, shifting her focus toward the next phase of the company’s strategic growth.
Eva Dunford, Creative Director and Co-founder will continue to lead and champion the brand team across all social platforms, partnerships, and marketing initiatives while Todd Jenereaux continues to lead as Executive Vice President of Republic Live, leading the team and ushering the company’s success into 2024 and beyond.

Anne Stirk brings 16 years of hands-on artist and brand marketing experience to the Republic Live team. She has been at the forefront of elevating Canadian creators on a global stage, while her career has revolved around championing artists and forging collaborations with key industry players, ranging from major labels to artists and management teams. At Universal Music Canada, her innovative mindset led to trailblazing campaigns that fuelled the formative excitement around artists like Shawn Mendes, Justin Bieber, and Drake. Moreover, Anne was instrumental in ushering in the digital age, having been intimately involved in the market launch of digital streaming platform giants, including Spotify and Apple Music. This unique blend of traditional marketing and digital innovation deepened the bond between artists and fans, positioning each at the heart of the evolving music landscape. Most recently, with Spotify Canada, it’s no exaggeration to say that Anne had a hand in nearly every significant Canadian release over the last five years. Her collaborations span legends like Celine Dion, Shania Twain, The Tragically Hip and Nickelback to promising emerging talents such as Valley, Josh Ross, The Beaches and more. Throughout her dynamic career, Anne’s approach to marketing has been both innovative and exciting.
